What Is Your Shipping Policy?

AAP Classic Car Parts offers various shipping options depending
upon where you live in the world. For more details, please see
the various options below.

Standard Ground

Handling Time - Typically ships within 2-3 business days,
excluding holidays.
Transit TIme - Typically arrives at the destination within 5 to
7 business days, excluding holidays.
Note: More specifically, Zone 2 & 3 are typically 2 to 3
business days. Zone 4 & 5 are typically 3 to 5 business
days. Zone 6 is typically 5 to 7 business days. Zone 7 & 8 are typically 7 to 10 business days.
Transit times may vary depending on the carrier.
Classic Industries offers standard ground service from multiple carriers within the contiguous
United States (lower 48 states). Advance Auto Parts calculates domestic shipping rates based upon

the 8 shipping zones in the contiguous United States. Actual freight costs are determined once
the order is packed and ready for shipment. Pre-payment by credit card is required before the
shipment can be sent.

Important: All first-time customer orders with a grand total equal to or greater than
$300, shipping air service require a signature on delivery. (new customer first-time
order only).
All first-time customer orders shipping air service must be shipped to the customer's
billing address (new customer first-time order only).
All first-time customer orders with a grand total equal to or greater than $1,000
shipping ground service must be shipped to the customer's billing address (new
customer first-time order only).
 

Penny Shipping

Promotional Penny Shipping products ship for only one cent! This special shipping rate only
applies to select “Penny Shipping” products and .01 will be added per Penny Shipping item in the
shipping subtotal. Additional shipping charges may apply to non-Penny Shipping products.
 

Flat Rate Shipping Charge

The Flat Rate Shipping charge is the flat rate shipping fee to ship select products during
checkout. This fee only applies to select “Flat Rate Shipping” products and will be added to the
shipping subtotal if other items are ordered.
All Expedited Shipping Services
Warning: The UPS Service Guarantee remains suspended for all other
UPS® shipments and services not specified in the above sections, from any origin to
any destination. Learn more about UPS transit times.

Overnight Delivery

Handling Time - Typically ships the same day if ordered before 2 PM Pacific Time, excluding
holidays.
Transit Time - Typically arrives at the destination the next business day, excluding holidays.
Advance Auto Parts Classic Parts offers overnight service within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states).
Rates depend on items ordered (weight, dimensions, etc), however, this is only an estimate.
Actual shipping costs may vary because some items are charged at the dimensional weight
instead of the actual weight. Actual freight costs are determined once the order is packed and
ready for shipment. Pre-payment by credit card is required before shipment can be sent. Simply
call in your order before 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, during regular business
hours. Your order will arrive on the next working day, excluding holidays and weekends (pending
availability). A $9.95 rush fee will also be assessed in addition to all Air Freight charges.
Expedited or Air delivery of any kind is exempt from any and all Free Shipping promotions.
Important: Air service does not guarantee that your order will arrive on the expected
delivery date. Under normal circumstances, air service is guaranteed. However, due to
adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or unforeseen circumstances, there may
be delays. Classic Industries is not responsible for delayed deliveries.

Two (2) Day Delivery

Classic Industries offers two-day service within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states).
Rates depend on items ordered (weight, dimensions, etc), however, this is only an estimate.

Truck Freight
Handling Time - Typically ships within 3 to 5 business days, excluding holidays.
Transit Time - Typically arrives at the destination 7 to 14 days later, excluding holidays.
Products that require truck freight are typically indicated with a “Truck Freight” icon. This indicates
that the product is too large for ground delivery and must be shipped by motor freight. There may
be items listed herein that are not indicated as truck freight. These items must be prepaid,
including freight charges, before the shipment can be sent. Truck freight rates may vary
depending on the products being ordered, fuel surcharges, and the shipping destination.
Residential deliveries require an additional fee of $125.00 assessed by the carrier due to the
additional coordination and transit outside of normal routes. Some Truck Freight shipments may
require special handling (e.g., lift gate service, re-routing, additional freight charges, etc.).
Acceptance of truck freight shipment, rate, and applicable fees is acknowledged at the time of
order.
Important Shipping Information:
Please be advised that Truck Freight requires a signature for delivery. The freight
company will sometimes call prior to delivery. You should inspect the shipment prior to
signing for the goods. Your signature releases the freight company of any liability, which
will result in the denial of any claims (shortages or damage).
Truck Freight Promotions: Truck freight items are excluded from any promotional
shipping offers unless the promotion specifically calls out Truck Freight.
Oversized and Overweight
These are the designations for Ground or Standard packages that meet one of the following
specifications for billing purposes:
Oversize 1 (OS1)
AAP Classic Car Parts
Designates a combined length and girth exceeding 84 inches, but less than 108 inches. The
actual weight is less than 30 pounds and is billed at 30 pounds
Oversize 2 (OS2)
Designates a combined length and girth exceeding 108 inches but less than 130 inches.
The actual weight is less than 70 pounds and is billed at 70 pounds.
Oversize 3 (OS3)
Designates a combined length and girth exceeding 130 inches but less than 165 inches. A
$40.00 handling fee will be added to all (OS3) orders.
Overweight (OW1, OW2, and OW3)
Overweight 1, 2, and 3 designates actual weight is less than 90 lbs. and is billed at > 90 lbs.
as appropriate.
Important: We reserve the right to charge Oversize and Overweight fees on any order
containing oversize and overweight products, even if it is not indicated in the catalog.
Additional Handling Charge
The Additional Handling Charge is an additional fee assessed by the carriers for the handling
and shipping of exceptionally long or bulky items. These fees are applied per order and are in
addition to the base shipping rates. Oversize, overweight, and truck freight shipping fees may
apply.
Non-Contiguous US
Handling Time - Typically ships the same day if ordered before 2 PM Pacific Time, excluding
holidays. If the shipment is Non-Contiguous US Truck Freight, this doesn't apply, as the shipment
must be rated prior to shipment.
Transit time - Typically arrives at the destination 2 business days later, excluding holidays.
All Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, etc. orders are shipped via two-day air
delivery whenever possible. All orders must be pre-paid with a credit card, money order, or check.
AAP Classic Car Parts
No COD orders are accepted. Rates depend on the items being ordered; contact our sales
department for exact rates. The Free Freight policy does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam,
Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, etc. Classic Industries reserves the right to ship via the carrier of our
choice.
APO and FPO Addresses
Parcel post is the only means of shipping to an APO or FPO address. Due to size restrictions, the
maximum shipping box can be no larger than 72 inches width and girth combined. All military
personnel must write or call to determine what size box will be used for the shipment. Once this is
determined,Advance Auto Parts will call or write to let you know if the order can be shipped by
Parcel Post and the correct amount required. All orders that exceed these limitations will be
shipped in accordance with customer approval.
P.O. Boxes
AAP Classic Car Parts doesn't currently ship to P.O. boxes.

Oversize and/or overweight boxes will be charged in accordance with the UPS or FedEx or Others
dimensional rate chart. Classic Industries reserves the right to change shipping rates in
accordance with rate increases by freight companies.

 

All outstanding charges must be paid before any additional orders will be
accepted.
Foreign Order Shipping Policy
All foreign orders must be pre-paid before export shipments can be sent. Due to shipping rate
differences and depending on what items are being ordered, your freight fees will vary. It is
important that you contact Advance Auto Parts  sales department for instructions regarding all
foreign orders. Please list the items you intend to order so we may calculate the best, most
efficient, and least expensive method to ship your order. A $15.95 foreign processing fee will be
added to all foreign orders. Customs duties and import fees to your country will vary and are the
sole responsibility of the customer. 
Each order is charged an insurance fee of $3.95. This fee will insure the entire order and protect
you completely from damages or loss.
